Rosewood Home Raided by Drug Task Force

June 1, 2021

On Friday, May 28, 2021 members of the Drug Task Force executed a drug search warrant at a home on Shiloh Road in Rosewood. This investigation spanned several months. It began as a result of complaints by citizens of this small community and was combined with anonymous tips of suspicious activities.

The Tactical Response Unit (TRU) entered the home shortly after 5:00 a. m. and found homeowner, Erik Lambert (3/28/72) in the master bedroom. Lambert’s house guests, Alan Dones (6/6/76) of Davie, Florida and Dana Corrigan (10/18/84) of Rosewood, were located in other parts of the home and detained.

The investigation identified Lambert was selling methamphetamines from the home. Dones and Corrigan were active participants in this activity too. Lambert was arrested for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia. Detectives discovered that as law enforcement entered the home Dones dashed into the bathroom and began flushing narcotics down the toilet. Detectives were able to recover evidence not destroyed by his actions. Dones was arrested and has been charged with possession of methamphetamines, possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Corrigan was arrested for possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Detectives are continuing this investigation as evidence was found that multiple drug sales were made from this home. The LCSO and Sheriff McCallum applaud the courage of citizens who contacted our office and alerted us about this residence. Sheriff McCallum also wants to ensure our public that we will aggressively investigate and arrest those who choose to sell drugs in our communities.
