The Levy County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division (CID) received a flyer from the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office requested assistance in identifying a vehicle involved in the theft of a dump trailer stolen from Homosassa, Fl. LCSO Detectives recognized the truck pictured in the flyer as a vehicle they had encountered many times in the Bronson area. Hernandez had a four year old child in the vehicle with him and Detectives discovered over 8 ½ ounces of marijuana in the seat next to the child. He dropped methamphetamines on the ground and attempted to grind them into the dirt as Detectives were handcuffing him.

Alexandra Gomara (4/7/95) was located on the property and identified as Hernandez’s girlfriend. She was found in possession of narcotics and taken into custody. Kristie Collins (11/22/73) was also located on the property and detained. Detectives discovered she was wanted for failure to appear in court for a pending drug case.

LCSO Detectives filed for and were granted an amendment to the search warrant and discovered a cache of guns and a large quantity of narcotics. In all fourteen (14) guns were seized along with approximately 90 pounds of marijuana, fentanyl and methamphetamines. Several guns were loaded and within reach of the child who was living at this home with Hernandez and Gomara.
