Update on Missing Endangered Person


 
 

On Thursday May 5, 2016, the Levy County Sheriff’s Office requested the public’s assistance in locating Trevor McNair.  LCSO is happy to report that Mr. McNair was found alive at approximately 8:00 A.M. on the morning of May 9, 2016. 

Concerned citizens called the Levy County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center to report a suspicious person in the area of the Levy/Alachua County line on State Road 24.  Deputies from both Levy and Alachua County Sheriffs’ Offices responded and made contact with Mr. McNair.  Mr. McNair appeared to have been living outside in the elements while missing.  He was transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. 

LCSO and Mr. McNair’s family greatly appreciate the assistance provided by the public that helped bring this case to a positive conclusion.
