The Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force executed a search warrant yesterday afternoon on a home located at 11291 NE 86 Lane, in a subdivision east of the Town of Bronson. Drug Task Force Detectives arrested the owner of the home, Kimberly M. Ausburn (2/2/72) for possession of methamphetamines with the intent to sell, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a drug dwelling.
Three additional arrests were made during this operation. Detectives arrested Amber D. Russell (9/27/86) of Bronson for possession of methamphetamines and possession of drug paraphernalia, Jennifer L. Jacobs (10/3/77) of Bronson for fentanyl and possession of a schedule 3 drug without a prescription and Travis T. Egyed (11/18/92) of Bronson for possession of methamphetamines and drug paraphernalia.
“This operation concludes a long investigation where documenting the illegal drug activity at this home allowed a warrant to be obtained. These arrests will hopefully give some peace to this neighborhood but the war on these deadly drugs will continue. We are thankful for the cooperation of the good citizens of this community who offered a helping hand while we worked this case. We use this case as an example of how community involvement by reporting illegal drug activity can and will lead to arrests,” said Sheriff McCallum.
