Domestic Violence Call Leads to Arrest

June 10, 2022

LCSO Deputies responded to a 911 call in the Chiefland area early this afternoon. The caller, a female, told the 911 operator she was attacked by a person who lived at her home on a part time basis. She told the operator she used a knife to defend herself.

Deputies arrived on scene and found the man and the woman who called 911. The investigation determined the female, identified as Sararae M. Webb (8/4/2000) of Chiefland, was the primary aggressor during this incident. Webb used a knife to cut the victim multiple times across the chest and hands and slashed the tire on his truck when he attempted to leave. The victim was treated at the scene by EMS and released.

Webb was arrested and has been charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief. She will be held in the Levy County Detention Center pending her first appearance tomorrow morning.
