Driver Flees Deputy-Arrested for Drugs and Guns

On June 7, 2022 Deputy Justin Arters attempted to stop a SUV driving without headlights on US Hwy 27 at approximately 1:00 a.m. The driver made an abrupt U-turn and accelerated to speeds in excess of 100 mph in an attempt to elude Deputy Arters. The driver ultimately stopped on Margaret Street in Bronson when confronted by additional deputies who arrived to assist. The driver, identified as Rebia Brown (4/19/97) of Bronson, was immediately arrested.

Deputy Arters observed the front seat passenger in the fleeing vehicle throw unidentified items out of the window during the pursuit. Some of these items were recovered by deputies and identified as crack cocaine. The passenger, Leneiall Sapp (9/3/93) of Bronson, was arrested.

Deputies found a five year old and a two year old unrestrained in the back seat of the SUV. Brown told deputies these were her biological children. Quantasia Delaine (12/5/2000) of Gainesville was also a passenger in the vehicle. Deputies found Delaine in possession of cocaine and she too was arrested. Deputies located more crack cocaine, marijuana and two firearms inside the vehicle.

Brown was charged with two counts of child endangerment, fleeing law enforcement and possession of cocaine. She is being held on a $175,000 bond. Sapp was charged with possession of cocaine and possession of a weapon by a convicted felon. He is being held on a $75,000 bond. Delaine was charged with possession of cocaine and is being held on a $30,000 bond.
