On October 3, 2022 Levy County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint alleging sexual misconduct perpetrated by a registered sexual offender. The victim told Detectives she was forced to perform sexual acts over a period of several years at a home on the outskirts of Williston. Detectives located and interviewed the identified suspect, Thomas P. Teehan (7/4/74).
Detectives and Victim Services worked tirelessly throughout the night ensuring the safe placement of the victim and concluding the investigation with Teehan’s arrest. Teehan has been charged with six counts of Lewd and Lascivious Battery and a violation of sex offender registration requirements. He will be held at the Levy County Detention Center in lieu of a $1.25 million dollar bond.
