Levy County Detectives arrested Aimee L. Perkins (8/26/99) of Chiefland for four counts of lewd and lascivious battery with two separate victims, one 12 years old and 14 years old. Detectives became involved in this investigation which was originally reported to the Department of Children and Family Services. DCF investigators and Detectives interviewed the two victims who gave explicit details of sexual encounters with Perkins.
Perkins was located and interviewed by Detectives on November 6, 2022. Perkins made statements to Detectives confirming some factual details of the victim’s statements. She was arrested and has been booked into the Levy County Detention Center. Her bond has been set at $40,000.00.
