3 Arrested for Manufacturing Methamphetamine

A search warrant executed by Levy County Sheriff's Office Drug Task Force (DTF) Deputies on March 6, 2013 nets 3 arrests. DTF Deputies conducted an investigation of reported methamphetamine production and sales at the Bronson Motel. As the investigation gained momentum, DTF Deputies requested a search warrant for rooms 20 and 21. At approximately 9:15 p.m., Deputies made entry into both rooms simultaneously and discovered the equipment and supplies to manufacture methamphetamine. During the arrests, suspect Russell Girdler had custody of his 5 month old infant child, who was also present in the room where the drugs were being manufactured.

 

Arrested were: Russell A. Girdler W/M 12-7-85 charged with manufacture of methamphetamine in the presence of a child. Bond amount $100,000.00. Sean D. Franzius W/M 12-7-86 charged with manufacture of methamphetamine in the presence of a child and keeping a drug dwelling. Bond amount $200,000.00. Judith A. Gazdun W/F 6-7-88 charged with child abuse, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond amount $125,000.00.
