Female Arrested for Obstructing Deputies

May 24, 2017

Deputies obtained information through a confidential tip which led to the arrest of fugitive William Justin Ford. Ford escaped custody on March 28, 2017 and had been on the run for 51 days. Investigators learned Ford was at a home owned by Tiffany Nicole Davis (8-3-87). Deputies arrived, announced their presence and gave Davis specific orders to exit the home. Davis refused and stalled the deputies’ attempt to enter the home which allowed Ford a second chance at escape.

Ford was captured after running a short distance from the home. Davis was also given a ride to the Levy County Detention Facility for her part in his last bid for freedom. Davis was found to have a knive/brass knuckles combination weapon concealed in her waist band. She was booked in for resisting officers without violence and possession of a concealed weapon. Her bond has been set at $35,000.00.
