Brandon Michael McClurg (W/M–DOB:
5-2-92) of Williston was arrested by Investigator Scott Stancil in the late
afternoon of July 7, after confessing to sexually abusing a 5 year old child.
The child’s father filed his
complaint on June 28 after his child disclosed to him “Dude”, as the child
refers to McClurg, touched her private areas with his fingers and mouth.
Investigator Stancil requested a
forensic interview be conducted by the Child Protection Team (CPT) in Gainesville
McClurg was charged with Lewd and
Lascivious Molestation of a child under 12 and Sexual Battery of a child under
12. He is being held on a 1.25 million dollar bond awaiting trial. McClurg had
not been previously arrested for any other crimes.
