3 Arrested for Armed Robbery

 Sylvia Chisolm 11-8-83
 Billie Jo Grant 1-13-82
Richard Hall 12-14-59

April 29, 2014

On April 25, 2014 at approximately 10:45 PM Levy County Deputies responded to the Waco 6 convenience store located at 8731 NW 174 Street in Fanning Springs. The clerk reported an unclothed Hispanic male ran into his store requesting help. With the aid of interpreters, Deputies determined the male had been the recent victim of a robbery. The robbers had taken his clothing which contained his wallet filled with approximately $1,000 in cash.

The subsequent investigation led to the identification of three robbers, one male identified as Richard Hall 12-14-59 and who is a registered sex offender; and two females, Billie Jo Grant 1-13-82 and Sylvia Chisolm 11-8-83. The investigation revealed the trio planned the robbery earlier in the evening. Their plan was for the females to find a Hispanic male, lure him to a home and into a bedroom. The females were to promise him sexual acts and when he got undressed, the male who was waiting in an adjacent room and armed with a machete, was to take his clothing.

Their plan was executed, but with one flaw. The Hispanic male knew these ladies. With the assistance of the interpreter, investigators were able to quickly locate and arrest all three suspects.

Hall is being held at the Levy County Detention Facility charged with Robbery and his bond has been set at $100,000. Chisolm was also arrested for Robbery and is being held in Levy County on a $75,000 bond. Grant was located in Gilchrist County and arrested on an unrelated charge. The charge of Robbery for her involvement in this crime has been forwarded to the State Attorney’s Office and a warrant is pending.
