Walter Lang (9-7-80) was placed on probation for possession
of heroin by the courts in Lee County less than one month ago. Lang, who has a
long history of arrests, didn’t last long on probation. He absconded from
supervision almost immediately. However, living life on the run was short lived
for him.
The Levy County Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the Lee
County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit this morning that Lang was hiding at a
home located at 11490 SE 37 Lane in Morriston.
Investigators and the LCSO Patrol Division responded to the home and
were able to locate and arrest Lang within two hours of the tip being received.
