Chiefland, Florida- The Levy County Sheriff’s Office has received numerous phone calls from the Chiefland Country Club area with reports of yellow discoloration in the water. As a precaution we are asking the citizens in the area to boil water until further notice or drink bottle water.
It is recommended to bring the water to a full rolling boil for at least one minute to kill most infectious germs.
