Williston, Florida-On September 1, 2009 the Levy County Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force arrested James W. Scott for sale of marijuana less than 20 grams and possession of marijuana.
Agent Rob Bowers with the Drug Task Force received information that Scott was selling pills and marijuana from his peanut stand located between Williston and Bronson on highway Alt-27. Bowers made contact with Scott on May 7, 2009 to discuss the sale of narcotics.
On May 8, 2009 Scott told Bowers to return to the peanut stand and he would sell pills and marijuana. Bowers returned to the peanut stand and Scott sold him 9.5 grams of marijuana for $45.00.
On September 1, 2009 Agent Joey Barrera with the Drug Task Force arrested Scott and he was transported to the Levy County Jail.
