LCSO and the School Board of Levy County are happy to report that the Williston Middle High School threat case reported yesterday has been solved. School Resource Deputy Grant Sandlin, with the assistance of school personnel, was able to locate the suspect, gather evidence and ultimately obtain a confession. The 12 year old student admitted to writing the threatening message on the wall.
The student was suspended and will face other administrative discipline. The investigation will be reviewed by the State Attorney's Office for appropriate criminal charges.
